What Kinds of Pie Are You Making?

I am making my most favorite Thanksgiving pies.

There's pumpkin, of course, which I make with smooth custard filling in my homemade from-scratch pie crust. The secret is that I line the crust with a thin layer of gingersnaps which keeps the crust from getting soggy.  SOLD OUT

I'm also making pecan pie , with whole pecans in a not-too-sweet filling. (This Texan-New Yorker says pea-cahn, rather than pe-caan, but to each their own.) For the chocolate lovers who are often forsaken at Thanksgiving, I'll also be making a chocolate pecan pie this year. Both of these are also made in my homemade flaky pastry crust. SOLD OUT

And lastly, my personal favorite, the sugar cream hoosier pie. This is a sweet custard pie full of nutmeg and made in a homemade graham cracker crust. ($20)

Edited to add: New Pie Alert! I'll also be making cranberry walnut pies ($25)
